These applications are provided free of charge by Byron System Developer and are intended for use “as is”. Not every application uses every feature or service described below.
This page explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use our applications. By using an app, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Depending on the app, information such as preferences, theme settings, progress, test answers, and test results may be stored locally on your device. Local information is normally removed when the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
2. Information Collected and How It Is Used
Depending on the features used, our apps may process limited information such as:
- App interactions, screens viewed, session information, and feature usage;
- App version, device model, operating system version, language, and general device information;
- Advertising interactions and consent status;
- Technical diagnostics, crashes, errors, stack traces, and performance information;
- Test answers and results, where required to provide the app's features or anonymous comparisons;
- An anonymous account identifier, nickname, and saved results in apps that provide online profiles or comparisons.
This information is used to provide app functionality, understand feature usage, improve performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, display advertising, and produce aggregated or anonymized statistics.
We do not sell personal information. We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, nicknames, user identifiers, or test answers in analytics events or crash reports. However, information that a user voluntarily enters into an online feature may be stored when that feature requires it.
3. Firebase Services
Some applications use Google Firebase services. The Firebase services used may include:
- Firebase Analytics: collects app usage and interaction information to help us understand how the apps are used and improve them;
- Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports and technical diagnostics, which may include app state, device model, operating system, app version, timestamps, stack traces, and installation-related identifiers;
- Firebase Authentication: may create an anonymous account identifier so that online app data can be associated with the correct installation or user without requiring an email address;
- Cloud Firestore: may store information required by online features, such as a chosen nickname, anonymous account identifier, app identifier, timestamps, and test results.
Firebase information is processed by Google according to its privacy and security terms. Learn more at Firebase Privacy and Security and in the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising and Consent
Some applications use Google AdMob to display advertising and support development and maintenance. AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as the device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, ad interactions, and diagnostic information.
Where required by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent. Depending on your choice and the availability of ads, AdMob may display personalized or non-personalized advertising. Where available, you can review or change your privacy choices through the app's Privacy options.
For more information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Advertising Policies.
5. Third-Party Services
Our applications may use the following third-party services, depending on the platform and app:
These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and may operate infrastructure outside your country of residence.
6. Google API Access (Play Games Services / OAuth)
Our game Territory may integrate with Google Play Games Services to provide leaderboards, player statistics, progress, and achievements.
Data Accessed
If the user chooses to sign in with Google Play Games, the app may access a player ID, nickname, and profile image, if available.
Data Usage and Sharing
This information is used only for the relevant Play Games features. We do not sell Google user data. Information processed directly by Google Play Games remains subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
Data Retention and Deletion
Users can manage Play Games information through their Google account and may request deletion of data controlled by us by contacting byronsystemdeveloper@gmail.com. If an app does not use Google sign-in, no Google account data is accessed by that app.
7. Log and Diagnostic Data
When an app error occurs, technical information may be collected through services such as Firebase Crashlytics. This information is used to identify, investigate, and fix crashes, advertising errors, connection failures, and other bugs. Diagnostic information is not used to determine test outcomes or make decisions about users.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, analyze, and improve the apps, or to comply with legal obligations. Retention periods for information processed by third-party providers are also governed by those providers' policies and settings.
You may request access to or deletion of information controlled by Byron System Developer by emailing byronsystemdeveloper@gmail.com. Please identify the relevant app and, when applicable, the nickname used in the app. We may need limited additional information to locate the relevant record. Removing an app or clearing its data does not necessarily delete information already stored in an online service; contact us if you want that information deleted.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures and the security controls provided by our service providers to protect information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure.
10. Links to Other Sites
Our apps may contain links to external websites, app stores, or reference material. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external services.
11. Children's Privacy
Our applications are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user's country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. You may also:
- Change advertising privacy choices through the app when that option is available;
- Limit or reset the advertising identifier through your device settings;
- Disable app permissions through your device settings;
- Uninstall the app or clear locally stored app data;
- Contact us to request deletion of online information controlled by us.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
